It is hereby notified that orders of adoption, as set out in the Schedule hereunder, have been made by the Maori Land Court under the provisions of the Maori Land Act, 1931.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II) (Unclaimed Lands)

WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have, for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiry with respect to the lands described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said lands, given the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent thereto : And whereas the owner has not established his title to the said lands as required by that Act; I hereby give notice that the said lands are, under and by virtue of that Act, vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of that Act being less than five hundred pounds (£500).

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing one acre, more or less, situate at Halcombe, being part of Subdivision A, Manchester Block, being also Lot 272, Block XIX, on the plan deposited in the Lands Registry Office at Wellington as No. 42, and being part of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 355, folio 281, of the Register-book of the said office, the registered proprietor of which is The Colonists Land and Loan Corporation, Limited, the voluntary winding-up of which was completed in 1916.

Dated at Wellington, this 15th day of May, 1951.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

E. C. Pearce, Corner of Crowhurst and Leeds Streets, Newmarket, Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from eight pumps to be installed on proposed service-station and garage premises at corner of Crowhurst and Leeds Streets, Newmarket, Auckland.

N. Richardson, Dinsdale Road, Frankton Junction, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Dinsdale Road, Frankton Junction.

W. Sturgeon, Stanley Street, Eketahuna, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Stanley Street, Eketahuna.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 31st May, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
