IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by
section 92 of the Milk Act, 1944, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, doth hereby approve the Wanganui Co-operative Milk
Supply Company, Limited, as the supply association for the
Wanganui Milk District.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street (Extension of Parkhill
Road) in the Town District of Howick, Subject to a Condition as

THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amend-
ment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act,
1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, doth hereby authorize the Howick Town Board to
permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the
Schedule hereto, at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66
feet, but not less than 50 feet, subject to a condition that no building
or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land edged
green on the plan referred to in the said Schedule within a distance
of 48 feet from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Town
District of Howick, being an extension of Parkhill Road, containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 4 perches, more or less, being part of
Allotment 7, Section 9, of Small Lots near the Village of Howick.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 133273, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in him by section 6 of the
Housing Amendment Act, 1940, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and
declare that the access-way described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Te Awamutu and be
under the control and management of the Te Awamutu Borough
Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the access-way dealt with: 8·7 perches.
Being part Section 115, Teasdale Settlement.
Situated in Block II, Puniu Survey District (Borough of Te

The North-eastern Side of Portion of Street in the Borough of Queens-
town Exempted From the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public
Works Act, 1928

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of
May, 1951
Present:
THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Queenstown Borough Council on the 6th
day of November, 1950, in so far as it effects the side and portion of
street described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :
“ The Queenstown Borough Council, being the local autho-
rity having control of the streets in the Borough of Queenstown,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the
Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-eastern
side of the portion of street adjoining Sections 10 and 11, Block
XXVIII, Town of Queenstown, and comprised in Certificate of
Title, Volume 312, folio 206 (Otago Land Registry).”
SCHEDULE
THE north-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the
Otago Land District, Borough of Queenstown, fronting Sections 10
and 11, Block XXVIII, Town of Queenstown.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 134028, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at

Authorizing James Anderson Chaffey, John Ross Murray, and James
Gordon Murray, all of Kekerangu, Sheep-farmers, to Use Water
for the Purpose of Generating Electricity

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of
May, 1951

THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby grant to James Anderson
Chaffey, John Ross Murray, and James Gordon Murray, all of
Kekerangu, Marlborough, Sheep-farmers (hereinafter referred to as
the licensees), a licence, subject to the conditions hereinafter set
forth, to take and use from the Roaring Meg Stream (hereinafter
referred to as the said stream), situated in Run 121, Block VIII, Tone
Survey District, in the County of Awatere, for the purposes herein-
after set forth, a stream of water not exceeding 3 cubic feet per
second at any one time.
CONDITIONS
- IMPLIED CONDITIONS
THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Water-
power Regulations 1934 and the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935
shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except
in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
This licence is issued under the Water-power Regulations
1934 and is subject thereto and to the Electrical Supply Regulations
1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, and the Radio Inter-
ference Regulations 1934, and to any regulations hereafter made
in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
- UTILIZATION OF WATER AND LOCATION OF HEADWORKS
Water shall be used under this licence solely for the purpose of
generating electricity up to a maximum capacity of 5 kilowatts
and shall be taken from the said stream at the point in Run 121,
Block VIII, Tone Survey District, indicated on the plan marked
S.H.D. 138, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the
State Hydro-electric Department.
- GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
The licensees are hereby authorized, subject to the conditions
hereof, to construct, maintain, and use the following works for the
purposes of this licence, the positions of the said works being indicated
on the said plan S.H.D. 138 :
(a) Headworks consisting of a dam and intake with a water-
race and pipe-line leading to the power-house hereinafter
referred to, giving a static head of approximately 30 ft.
(b) Water turbine and power-house with all necessary equip-
ment for generating electricity, situated in Run 121,
Block VIII, Tone Survey District.
(c) A tail-race leading from the aforesaid power-house to the
said stream.
