Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of May, 1951.

Land Taken for an Electric-power Substation in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an electric-power substation and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of May, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1·33 perches.
Being part Lot 8, D.P. 2812, being part Section 4, Evans Bay District.
Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington) (S.O. 22117).

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134021, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1951.
