Exempting Land in the Taranaki Land District From the Operation of Part III of the Coal-mines Act, 1925

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection (2) of section 171 of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, and all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be exempt from the operation of Part III of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, and do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Taranaki Land District containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section 1, Block XIV, of the Town of Ohura, and part of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 150, folio 160 (Taranaki Registry).
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 21st day of April, 1951.

Honorary Inspectors of Scenic Reserves Appointed

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Ronald Win
to be Honorary Inspectors under the said Act.

Lands Reserved in the North Auckland, South Auckland, Wellington, Marlborough, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts

WHEREAS by section 167 of the Land Act, 1948, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart as a reserve, notwithstanding that the same may then be held under pastoral lease or pastoral occupation licence, any Crown land for any purpose, which, in his opinion, is desirable in the public interest, and notice thereof shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby reserve the lands in the North Auckland, South Auckland, Wellington, Marlborough, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be reserved.

ALL that area situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 21·1 perches, more or less, being Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 20800, being parts of Allotment 187, Parish of Waikomiti. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/40, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
