NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, the registration of the Cable and Wireless Ltd., Auckland, Overseas Communications Employees’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered No. 1989, situated at Auckland, will, unless cause to the contrary be shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

In the matter of the Standing Orders of the General Assembly of New Zealand relative to Private Bills, and in the matter of a Private Bill intituled “An Act to Amend an Act Intituled ‘An Act to Incorporate the Proprietors of a Certain Banking Company Called “The Bank of New South Wales” and for other purposes’”.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Bank of New South Wales intends to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand for the passing of the said Bill. The objects of the said Bill are to remove any doubts as to the effect of certain provisions of The Bank of New South Wales Act, 1861, relating to securities for advances and to simplify the form in which security may be taken.
Printed copies of the Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill Office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, not earlier than thirty days before and not later than fourteen days after the commencement of the said session and at the offices of Brandon, Ward, and Watts, Brandon House, Featherston Street, Wellington C.1., Solicitors to the Bank of New South Wales.
