Additional Land at Ohura Taken for the Purposes of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of April, 1951.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road at Fordell

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of road :

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section 226 of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Wanganui County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a portion of the Edgecumbe–Murupara Railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :

5 acres 1 rood 29·1 perches.

Being all the land on D.P. 38051, being part Kaihu No. 2B 3 Block, situated in the Borough of Dargaville, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 847, folio 261 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1951.
