Proclaiming Maori Land to be Vested in His Majesty the King

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 450 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 13 acres, more or less, called or known as Paengaroa North C No. 3B, situated in Block VII, Maketu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.L. 8572, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of April, 1951.

Varying a Proclamation Proclaiming Tribal Districts Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act, 1945

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 6 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act, 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby vary the Proclamation made on the 19th day of April, 1947, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 24th day of April, 1947, at page 481, by deleting from the Schedule thereto the description of the Whangarei Tribal District and substituting therefor the description appearing in the Schedule hereto.

WHANGAREI TRIBAL DISTRICT
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VIII, Russell Survey District, at the eastern end of the northern boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4F Block, being a point on the boundary of the Whangarei County; thence along that county boundary, being a line along the sea-coast, and including the adjacent islands known as the Hen and Chickens (Taranga and Marotiri), the Poor Knights, and all other adjacent islands to Bream Tail at the north-eastern
