Proclaiming a Road-line Laid Out Through Parawai No. 1 Block,
Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, Auckland Land District,
to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the 2nd day of February, 1911, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section 117 of the Maori Land Act, 1909 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section 486 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection (2) of section 487 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 487 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 acre 0 roods 37 perches.
Being part of Parawai No. 1 Block.
Situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District (M.L. 8971).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2881B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3063, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of April, 1951.

Revoking the Reservation Over a Scenic Reserve in the Southland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes :
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 8 of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 52, Block IX, Oteramika Hundred : Area, 34 acres, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of April, 1951.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 839 acres, more or less, and being Sections 11, 16, 17, and 18, Block I, Motueka Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 102/30, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Nelson plan S.O. 7587.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of March, 1951.
