SOUTHERN LAKES ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT
(1) All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 230 acres, more or less, being part of the Town of Kinloch, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by the northern side of Loch Carron Street; towards the east by the eastern side of Nevis Street; towards the south by the southern side of Skye Street; towards the east generally by the eastern side of Armadale Street; towards the south by the southern side of Barra Street; towards the west by the western side of Islay Street; and excepting from the said parcel of land Sections 1 to 5, Block I, Sections 3, 4, and 27, Block XVII, Section 6, Block XVIII, Sections 3 to 7, 10 to 13, Block XX, Sections 8 to 15, Block XXI, Town of Kinloch. As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked L. and S. 23/807, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington.
(2) The Haast River watershed, including the Landsborough and Clark Valleys.
(3) Roy’s Bay, Lake Wanaka, from Eely Point to Scar Burn outlet into the lake, and any area within a quarter of a mile of the edge of the lake between Eely Point and the Scar Burn.
(4) The Township of Wanaka.
(5) All that area bounded by a line commencing on the summit of Paddock Hill, situated in Titiroa Survey District; thence north-easterly by the right line between Paddock Hill and Trig. Station U in Block VII, Takitimo Survey District, to its intersection with the right bank of the Waiau River; thence north-westerly generally by the said right bank to the Manapouri Accommodation-house; thence northerly generally along the main road to the hatchery at Te Anau; thence south-easterly along the main Te Anau-Mossburn Road to the summit of the range, being the northern end of The Ramparts; thence north-easterly along the summit of the range passing through Trig. Stations G, S, and A in Block II, Te Anau Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the summit of the range between the Fredburn and the Upukerora River to Snowdon; thence northerly generally along the summit of the Livingstone Mountains, passing through Mount Richmond, Winton Peak, Countess Peak, Moffat Peak, and David Peaks, to the summit of the range between Lake Fergus and Lake Howden; thence south-westerly generally along the summit of the range to Mount Anau; thence southerly along the summit of the range passing through Skelmorlie Peak and Largs Peak to a point due north of Mount Eglinton; thence due south by a right line through Mount Eglinton to the Eglinton River; thence south-westerly generally by the said river to Lake Te Anau and by the eastern shore of that lake to the Waiau River, down that river to Lake Manapouri, and by the eastern shore of that lake to the Waiau River; thence by a right line in the direction of the Monowai River where it flows out of Lake Monowai to a point due west of Paddock Hill; thence due east to the summit of Paddock Hill, the place of commencement, excepting the area of cultivated land approximately two miles long by half a mile wide in the Retford Valley on either side of the Retford River extending approximately one mile on either side of the two bridges across the Retford River on the Milford Sound Road.
SOUTHLAND ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT
(1) Stewart Island.
(2) Part Sections 5 and 6, Block I, Centre Hill Survey District, being the property of Mr. K. A. Gallagher.
(3) Part of Lot 9, D.P. 99, being part of Section 261, Block LI, Hokonui Survey District, containing 1 acre, more or less, adjoining the boundary of part Lot 10, D.P. 99, being part of Section 261, Block LI, Hokonui Survey District, at a point where a lagoon intersects that boundary and as defined on the section by four posts painted white, and being the property of Mr. James Watson, of Pyramid.
(4) Lots 2 and 3 on D.P. 1291, part Section 11, Oreti Hundred, containing 383 acres 20 perches, and being all the land contained and described in certificate of title, Vol. 95, folio 25 (Southland Registry), the property of Mr. Mabin Smith.
(5) All that area in the Southland Land District, containing 13 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less, being part of Section 215, Block XLV, Hokonui Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Wadworth-Lora Road, 1158 links; towards the south-east by a line parallel to Otapiri Gorge Road, 1158 links; towards the south-west by a line parallel to the Wadworth-Lora Road, 1158 links; towards the north-west by the Otapiri Gorge Road, 1158 links: be all the linkages a little more or less.
