Classification of Roads in Kairanga County

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport doth hereby alter the Kairanga County Council’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Kairanga County and doth hereby approve such altered classification as described in the said Schedule.

The Social Security Act, 1938.—Social Security Charge Payable by Companies

IN accordance with Order in Council dated 6th September, 1950, notice is hereby given that the social security charge payable by any company on its chargeable income for the income year ended on the 31st March, 1950, is due in one sum on Thursday, 1st February, 1951. A penalty of 10 per cent. will be incurred on any amount not paid within one month of the due date.

Demands will be issued on or about 25th January, 1951, and payment may be made at any office of the Land and Income Tax Department or at any money-order post-office.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 9th day of June, 1930, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 45 of the 19th day of June, 1930, at page 1983, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land and such land is hereby excluded from the Kaipara Development Scheme.
