A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
soil-conservation and river-control purposes; and I do also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day
of January, 1951.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 33·3 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 10060, situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt,
and being part Section 92, Hutt District, being the whole of
the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume
442, folio 180 (Wellington Land Registry).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for an automatic-telephone exchange; and I do also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of
January, 1951.

General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for accommodation for immigrants; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of January,
1951.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 8 acres 1 rood
8 perches.
Being part Lots 34 and 31 and part Elderlee Street, Deeds Plan 126,
being part Section 102.

Situated in Block XII, Tokomairiro Survey District (Otago
R.D.). (S.O. 11408.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to
the drainage easement over the part of Section 477, Town of
Wellington, referred to in the said Schedule, created or reserved by
Memorandum of Transfer No. 21433, Wellington Land Registry, for
a workers' hostel; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 29th day of January, 1951.

the Land Act, 1948.
