TOKOROA DISTRICT CONSUMER CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY, LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
THE creditors of the above-named society are required, on or before the 6th day of April, 1951, to send their names and addresses and particulars of their debts or claims to the undersigned, the liquidator of the said society, or if required by notice in writing from the liquidator, to come in and prove such debts or claims or in default thereof they may be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,600, authorized to be raised by the Upper Hutt Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of one heavy truck, one runabout truck, one grader, one tractor complete with blade and loader, miscellaneous parks plant, and the erection of a plant depot, the said Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five hundred and sixty-nine thousandths of a penny (.569d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Upper Hutt comprising the whole of the Borough of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at the ordinary meeting of the Upper Hutt Borough Council held in the Council Chambers, Main Road, Upper Hutt, on Wednesday, 21st February, 1951.

APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE FOR A WATER-RACE
UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1926
TAKE notice that JOHN ALEXANDER KENNEDY, of Gibbston, Farmer, has made application for licences for water-races in the Kawarau Survey District, commencement points in Boundary Creek which crosses land held by applicant under Pastoral Licence No. 345C and discharges into Kawarau River below the junctions of Hayes Creek and the Kawarau River.
The point of intake of the first water-race is 600 yards upstream the said Boundary Creek from the Kawarau River. The race runs in a westerly direction for 40 yards.
The point of intake of the second water-race is 800 yards upstream the said Boundary Creek from the Kawarau River. The race runs in an easterly direction along Langs Spur for 100 yards.
The point of intake of the third water-race is 1,000 yards upstream the said Boundary Creek from the Kawarau River. The race runs in a westerly direction along Boundary Spur for 300 yards.
The terms of the proposed licences are 21 years.
The time and place appointed for the hearing of the application and objections thereto is the 10th day of April, 1951, at 10.30 a.m., at the Warden’s Court, Cromwell. Objections must be filed in the Registrar’s office and notified to the applicant at least three days before the time so appointed.
