A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the General Assembly of New Zealand stands prorogued to the 22nd day of March, 1951: And whereas for certain causes and considerations I have thought fit to prorogue it further:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the New Zealand Constitution Act, 1852, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby further prorogue the General Assembly until Thursday, the 7th day of June, 1951, and summon it to meet at 2.30 p.m. on that day in the Parliament House in the City of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of March, 1951.
