Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936 (Mohaka Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 29th day of September, 1933, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 69 on the 5th day of October, 1933, at page 2482, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 522 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Tairawhiti Maori Land Court District, containing 104 acres 27·5 perches, more or less, called or known as Waihua A33, situate in Block XI of the Waihua Survey District and being the balance of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 86, folio 179 (Hawke’s Bay Registry). (Formerly known as Waihua 2c 11 containing 109 acres 2 roods 4 perches.)

Price Order No. 1221 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 1202) (Milk) (Buller, Kumara-Paroa-Camerons-Kumara Junction, Denniston, Stockton-Millerton, Waiuta, and Murupara Milk Price Districts)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, hereby makes the following amending Price Order :—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1221 and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1202* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 8th day of March, 1951.

  3. In this Order—

“Hampden Milk Price District” means the district within a radius of three miles from the Post-office at Hampden.

  1. The principal Order is hereby amended as follows :—

(a) By inserting in clause 2 the reference to the Hampden Milk Price District set out in clause 3 of this Order.

(b) By inserting after the word “Denniston” where it appears in paragraph (a) of clause 3 and in the Schedule the word “Hampden”.

Road Closed by Order of the Maori Land Court

NOTICE is hereby given that the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto has been declared closed and revested in the owners of the land found entitled thereto by an Order of the Maori Land Court at Whakatane on the 16th day of August, 1950, pursuant to section 488 of the Maori Land Act, 1931.

SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of roadline known as Ruaihona Road containing 32·8 perches, more or less, in the Auckland District, being portion of the road passing through or adjoining Lot 72B, No. 3Y, No. 1, Parish of Matata Block, situate in Block X, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, marked M.L. 16782, and thereon coloured green.

Signal Station Closed

Details : Owing to lack of shipping the signal station at South Head, Hokianga, has been closed, and in consequence all forms of signalling discontinued. The light will be exhibited until further notice.

Light Buoy Established

Position : 2460 ft. 347° from the flag staff on Ripa Islet. Lat., 43° 37′·2 S. ; long., 172° 45′·2 E. (approx.).

Details : A light buoy flashing every 10 seconds, i.e., 1 sec. flash, visible 5·5 miles, height 9 ft., will be established in the above position on the 12th March, 1951, and replaces the pile beacon originally in this position. The buoy will be fitted with a radar reflector.
