Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land declared to be Crown land :—
A. R. P. Being
22 0 34 Section 71 ; coloured green.
4 0 24 Section 80 ; coloured neutral.
0 2 32 Private road ; coloured red.

Situated in Block XXV, Jacobs River Hundred (Southland R.D.).

In the Southland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34139, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of February, 1951.

Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for Irrigation Purposes in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Spaxton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by George Burrell, of Alfred Forest, farmer, under and by virtue of Renewable Lease, Volume 422, folio 101 (Canterbury Land Registry), is hereby taken for irrigation purposes.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken : 18 acres 2 roods 20 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 5117, being part Reserve 2000.

Situated in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Spaxton Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7672.)

In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123495, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of March, 1951.

Additional Land Taken for a Technical School in the City of Timaru

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a technical school ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of March, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken : 1 rood 11·7 perches.

Being Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 5869, being part Rural Section 7555, situated in the City of Timaru, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 334, folio 249 (Canterbury Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of March, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic-telephone exchange ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of March, 1951.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 29 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 263, being part Section 148.

Situated in Block I, Poerua Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 4533.)

In the Westland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133564, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 roods 16 perches.
Being part Section 12, Suburbs of Ngongotaha.

Situated in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34926.)

In the South Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133550, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
