Appointing Two Members of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority

P URSUANT to section 4 of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Act, 1950, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Sir John Andrew Charles Allum, C.B.E., of Auckland, and
Athol Umfrey Wells, Esquire, of Auckland,
to be members of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 23rd day of February, 1951.

Crown Land in Canterbury Land District Set Apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION
I N pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 9 of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purpose of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in the Borough of Ashburton, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 24Β·4 perches, more or less, being Town Sections 358, 363, 364, 365, and parts of Town Sections 350, 351, 359, 360, 361, and 362, Township of Ashburton. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/228/26A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 8206.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of February, 1951.

Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.βWESTLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the Westland Land District, Westland County, containing by admeasurement 143 acres, more or less, and described generally as follows: All that area containing by admeasurement 106 acres, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 1685 (provisional State forest, New Zealand Gazette 1919, page 1285), situated in Blocks VII and XI, Bruce Bay Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Section 780, Block VII, aforesaid; towards the south and south-east by part of Reserve No. 1685 (permanent State forest, New Zealand Gazette 1933, page 10); towards the south-west by Section 786, Block XI, aforesaid, and by the north-eastern boundary of that section produced to the sea coast; and towards the north-west and north by the sea coast.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 37 acres, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 1685 (provisional State forest, New Zealand Gazette 1919, page 1285), situated in Block VII, Bruce Bay Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-west by Section 2650, Block VII, aforesaid; towards the south-east and north-east by Hunts Beach Road, and towards the south-west by Section 890, Block XI, aforesaid, and part of Reserve No. 1685 (permanent State forest, New Zealand Gazette 1933, page 10); excluding therefrom a gravel reserve on Hunts Beach Road.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 138/23, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of February, 1951.
