Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Pharmacy Industry
W. Sanders, 114 Pakura Street, Te Awamutu, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy in Oliphant’s Buildings, Alexandra Street, Te Awamutu.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
H. J. Reid, Main Road, Maramarua, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on service-station and garage premises at Main Road, Maramarua.
T. N. Sheeran, Te Kumi Road, Te Kuiti, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Te Kumi Road, Te Kuiti.
N. G. Johnson, Cheltenham, via Feilding, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Cheltenham, via Feilding.
B. T. Appleby, Kurow, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Kurow.
J. W. Haughton, Naumai, Northern Wairoa, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Naumai, Northern Wairoa.
W. J. Smith, Wilson’s Block, Waihi Beach, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Wilson’s Block, Waihi Beach.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 8th March, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936 (Te Kaha Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 13th day of January, 1932, and published in Gazette No. 6 of the 21st day of the same month at page 115, whereby the provisions of section 522 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land.
