Crown Land Set Apart for the Development of Water-power (Roxburgh Power Scheme) in Block II, Teviot Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power (Roxburgh Power Scheme).

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 9 acres 0 roods 33 perches.

Being Section 116, and being the whole of the land formerly comprised and described in Occupation Lease registered as Volume 208, folio 87 (Otago Land Registry).

Situated in Block II, Teviot Survey District. (S.O. 7644.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130389, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of February, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for Post and Telegraph purposes (line store); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of February, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart: 23·07 perches.

Being part Section 4, Block IX, Town of Ohakune.

Situated in Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District (Borough of Ohakune). (S.O. 22291.)

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for better utilization, is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of February, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Tokerau District Maori Land Board by Robert McAlister Connell, of Helena Bay, Farmer, under and by virtue of Memorandum of Lease No. 15838 (Auckland Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the said Schedule held from the Tokerau District Maori Land Board by Benjamin Cadogan Le Clerc, of Helena Bay, Farmer, under and by virtue of Memorandum of Lease No. 15697 (Auckland Registry), are hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of February, 1951.
