Land Subject to Certain Rights Taken for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block XII, Belmont Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to any rights which may have been acquired by the Wellington City Corporation in respect of watermains laid under the surface of the said land and to any rights that may have been granted to or acquired by the Wellington Meat Export Company, Limited, to lay and remove waterpipes across or over the said land and subject to the rights of the caveator under Caveat No. K. 12924, for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of January, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 12·6 perches. Being all the land on D.P. 12263, being part of a closed road adjoining Section 14 of the Harbour District and part of the old bed of the Wellington Harbour, situated in Block XII, Belmont Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 486, folio 89 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of December, 1950.
