Notification of Vacancy of Seat in the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of Brooklyn

IN compliance with the provisions of section 103 of the Electoral Act, 1927, I, Matthew Henry Oram, Speaker of the House of Representatives of New Zealand, hereby notify that Peter Fraser, a member of the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of Brooklyn, died on the 12th day of December, 1950, during a recess of the House, and that the said seat in the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District is vacant by reason of such death.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, Grey County, containing by admeasurement thirty-two (32) acres two (2) roods thirteen (13) perches, more or less, being part of Section 34 of Square 122, situated in Block XIV, Mawheraiti Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 22, folio 266, Westland Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 120/51, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
