A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, excepting thereout all coal, fireclay, and other minerals of what nature soever in, upon, or under the said land, is hereby taken, subject to the mining rights over the said land created by Transfer No. 385264, for Post and Telegraph purposes (staff residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of December, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 28·17 perches.
