DECLARATION OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT SYSTEM OF RATING
ON UNIMPROVED VALUE
P URSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act, 1925, I here give
notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of
Akaroa, taken on the 18th day of November, 1950, on the proposal
that the system of rating in the said Borough be on the unimproved
value :-
Votes.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ... 84
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 55
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

THE NEW ZEALAND GUARANTEE CORPORATION, LIMITED,
a duly incorporated company having its registered office
in the City of Wellington.
N OTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand dated the 4th day of December, 1950, confirming
the reduction of the capital of the above-named company and the
minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital
of the company as altered the several particulars required by the
above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on
the 5th day of December, 1950. The said minute is in the words
and figures following :-
" The capital of The New Zealand Guarantee Corporation,
Limited, was by virtue of a special resolution of the company and
with the sanction of an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand
made on the 4th day of December, 1950, reduced from £108,000,
divided into 720,000 ordinary shares of 3s. each, to £72,000, divided
into 720,000 ordinary shares of 2s. each. At the time of registration
of this minute 707,892 of the said 720,000 ordinary shares have
been issued and the full sum of 2s. per share has been and is to be
deemed paid up on the said 707,892 ordinary shares. The remaining
12,108 ordinary shares are unissued."

N OTICE is hereby given that an Order of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, Otago and Southland District (Dunedin
Registry), dated the 1st day of December, 1950, confirming the
reduction of the capital of the above-mentioned company from
£10,000 to £2,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing
with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several
particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by
the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Dunedin, on the 6th day
of December, 1950.
The said minute is in the words and figures following :-
" The capital of F. and F. Martin, Limited, henceforth is £2,000,
divided into 10,000 shares of 4s. each, instead of the original capital
of 10,000 shares of £1 each. At the time of the registration of this
minute the sum of 4s. is to be deemed paid up on each of the said
shares."

is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of

" 1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
