Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
J. W. Marsh, Windwhistle, Rakaia Gorge, Rakaia, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed service-station premises at Windwhistle, Rakaia Gorge, Rakaia.
K. E. Pitman, Esplanade, Kaikoura, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on service-station premises at Esplanade, Kaikoura.
R. C. Willetts, 281 Ferry Road, Christchurch, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on service-station premises at 281 Ferry Road, Christchurch.
A. H. Vile, Junction Road, Mangorei, via New Plymouth, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on service-station premises at Junction Road, Mangorei, via New Plymouth.
P. J. Poland, Main Road, Kaukapakapa, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Main Road, Kaukapakapa.
R. H. Negus, Southbridge, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Southbridge.
Maoribank Motors, Ltd., Maoribank, Wellington, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on garage premises at Maoribank, Wellington.
R. W. Rook, Okato, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Okato.
G. E. Barlow, Aramoho Park, Upper Aramoho, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Aramoho Park, Upper Aramoho.
Ihaia Road Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., via Opunake, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on factory premises via Opunake.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 4th January, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 19th day of March, 1931, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 23 of the 26th day of March, 1931, at page 720, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land and such land is hereby excluded from the Tuparoa Development Scheme.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes a certain notice dated 3rd day of April, 1940, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 30 of the 4th day of April, 1940, at page 657, whereby the provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, were applied to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and such land is hereby excluded from the Maniapoto Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of Maori land in the Ikaroa Maori Land Court District, situate in Block XV, Te Kauwau Survey District, and Block III, Mount Robinson Survey District, and known as the Puketotara 334 and 335 Section 8f Block, containing 18 acres 3 roods 24·9 perches, more or less, and being part of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 191, folio 53, Wellington Registry.

Cap : Mid-grey.
Socks : Mid-grey ; on turnover, one ¼ in. gold band between two ⅜ in. saxe-blue bands, each ⅛ in. distant from the gold band.
Tie : Alternate diagonal mid-grey and saxe-blue stripes each 1 in. wide. Running through the centre of each saxe-blue stripe, three ⅛ in. gold stripes ⅛ in. apart.
Badge
On saxe-blue shield edged in gold, the monogram “ MDHS ” in gold letters. Beneath the monogram a gold scroll bearing the motto “ Age Quod Agis ” in saxe-blue letters.
