WESTLAND CATCHMENT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1949, £6,500

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and in pursuance and exercise of all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf the Westland Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a special loan of £6,500 authorized to be raised by the Westland Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting dwelling-houses for the purposes of section 22 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1947, the said Westland Catchment Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one thirty-second of a penny (¹⁄₃₂nd d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the Westland Catchment District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Westland Catchment Board at its meeting held on the 29th day of November, 1950.

EKETAHUNA RABBIT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Moved by Mr. Sinclair, Seconded by Mr. Hercock.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, and its amendments, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, and by all other Acts, Powers, and Authorities enabling it in that behalf, the Eketahuna Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ For the purpose of providing the charges (principal repayments and interest) on a loan of two thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£2,250) to be known as the Eketahuna Rabbit Board Housing Loan, 1950, authorized to be raised by the Eketahuna Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting a dwelling-house for the accommodation of its employees on its property in High Street, Eketahuna, the Eketahuna Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies, on the acreage basis, a special rate of one half-penny (½d.) per acre upon all the rateable property within the whole of the Eketahuna Rabbit District and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be repayable on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years from the 1st day of April, 1951.”
The Common Seal of the Eketahuna Rabbit Board was hereunto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Eketahuna Rabbit Board in the presence of—

BOROUGH OF TAURANGA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Abattoir Loan £15,050, 1950

THE following resolution was passed by the Tauranga Borough Council:—
“ That, in pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £15,050, authorized to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out extensions to the Tauranga Borough abattoir, the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁵⁄₆₄ths pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Tauranga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Hokonui Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,950 authorized to be raised by the Local Government Loans Board under the above-mentioned Act for purchase of a dwelling-house, the said Hokonui Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny per acre on all the rateable property of the Hokonui Rabbit District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 31st August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIMATE COUNTY COUNCIL

IN accordance with the provisions of section 5 of the Water Supply Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that the Waimate County Council has duly appointed the following to be members of the Lower Waihao Water-race Managing Ratepayers Committee and that it has conferred on such Committee all the powers of management it possesses in respect of all water-races supplying the Lower Waihao Water-race District, viz:—
