Land Subject to the Housing Act, 1919, Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 26·96 perches, more or less, situated in the Township of Casanova, being Lots 12, 13, and 14, on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin, under No. 6427, being part Section 12, Block I, Oamaru Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 316, folio 154 (Otago Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/575B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of December, 1950.

Road Traversing Maori Land Proclaimed as a Public Road in Block XII, Whangarei Survey District, North Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Maori Land and has been used by the public as a public road :

And whereas the Maori Land Court, by an order made on the 24th day of January, 1950, and issued pursuant to section 484 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section 486 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 487 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 acre 13·3 perches.

Being portion of Pukahakaha East No. 4 Block.

Situated in Block XII, Whangarei Survey District. (M.L. plan 12631.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2566A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3060, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power (depot).

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948, subject to the Drainage Easement over Lot 5, D.P. 15197, reserved by Memorandum of Transfer Number 285233, Canterbury Land Registry.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 2 roods 2·3 perches.

Being Lots 5, 6, and 7, D.P. 15197, being Sections 287 and 288 and part Section 289, Town of Geraldine, and being also part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 270, folio 75 (Canterbury Land Registry).
