Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Wanganui

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of December, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 0 roods 30·9 perches.

Being part Lot 2, D.P. 4256, being part Section 64, Left Bank, Wanganui River.

Situated in Block I, Ikitara Survey District (City of Wanganui). (S.O. 22189.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132898, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange, edged orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of November, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for workers' dwellings; and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otorohanga as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of December, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 3 roods 35·5 perches.

Being part Section 2.

Situated in Block XI, Mangaorongo Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34518.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132951, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an aerodrome; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of December, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 200 acres.

Being Rural Section 21486, Block V, Arowhenua Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 514, folio 149 (Canterbury Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of November, 1950.

Revoking a Proclamation Taking Land for a Borough Depot in the Borough of Upper Hutt

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 3rd day of April, 1950, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 21 of the 13th day of the same month, at page 400, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as number 4176, taking land for a Borough Depot in the Borough of Upper Hutt, such land being no longer required.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of November, 1950.
