Declaring Land in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, Wellington Land District, Vested in the Wellington Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in His Majesty the King

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act, 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school-site or part of a school-site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in His Majesty; and thereupon the school-site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in His Majesty freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation.
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of an area vested in the Wellington Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in His Majesty the King, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods, more or less, being that part of Section 3, Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, lying to the south of the railway line, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 252, folio 67. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 5378D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of November, 1950.

Land Taken for Buildings of the General Government in Block I, Tarawera Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of December, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 3 roods 14Β·4 perches. Being Lots 27 and 28, D.P. 36498 (Town of Owhatiura Extension No. 8), being part Owhatiura No. 4 Section 2B Block, situated in Block I, Tarawera Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 949, folio 213, Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of November, 1950.

Land Taken for a Borough Depot in the Borough of Mount Albert

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a borough depot and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Mount Albert as from the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of December, 1950.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 38 perches. Being part Allotment 38, Titirangi Parish, and part Allotment 171, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland.
Situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District (Borough of Mount Albert) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35759.)
In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132792, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of November, 1950.
