In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of
FUREY AND ASSOCIATES, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on
the 3rd day of November, 1950, presented to the said Court by the
Official Assignee in Bankruptcy for the District of Wellington ; and
that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court
sitting at Wellington on the 29th day of November, 1950, at 10 o’clock
in the forenoon ; and any creditor or contributory of the said
company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on
the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by
his counsel for that purpose ; and a copy of the petition will be
furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company
requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated
charge for the same.

the name, address, and description of the person, or, if a firm, the
name, address, and description of the firm and an address for service
within three miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington,
and must be signed by the person or firm or his or their solicitor (if
any) and must be served, or if posted must be sent by post in
sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for
service not later than 4 o’clock in the afternoon of the 28th day of
November, 1950.

Monday, 4th December, 1950, for the purpose of laying before
members an account showing how the winding-up has been con-
ducted and the property of the company disposed of.

Windsor House, 58–60 Queen Street, Auckland C. 1, on Monday,
11th December, 1950, at 3.30 p.m. for the purpose of considering
the liquidator’s statement of account of the winding-up.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the
Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the company
will be held at the office of the liquidator, J. E. Watson’s Buildings,
Tay Street, Invercargill, on Monday, the 11th day of December,
1950, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of receiving
an account showing the manner in which the winding-up of the
company has been conducted and the property disposed of, and of
hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator and
of passing a resolution as to the amount of the liquidator’s remunera-
tion, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the
manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the
company and of the liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

LIMITED, H.B. 1948/2, has changed its name to HOLIDAY

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE TO DEBENTURE HOLDERS OF INTENTION TO EXERCISE
OPTION

In the matter of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and
Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Dunedin City
Loans Conversion Order, 1934.

IN pursuance and exercise of section 16 of the Dunedin City
Loans Conversion Order, 1934, and the terms under which
securities authorized by the said order were issued, the Dunedin
City Council at the meeting held on the 25th day of September,
1950, resolved to exercise the option contained in the securities
in respect of the following debentures maturing on the 1st day
of April, 1954, viz.:

Debentures numbers 13401 to 14468, each of £100, making
a total face value of £106,800, maturing on the 1st day
of April, 1954.

And public notice is accordingly hereby given of the Dunedin
City Council’s intention to redeem such debentures of the said
loan on the first (1st) day of April, 1951, and interest thereon will
cease on the said day.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
£1 5s. (Volumes for years 1941 and 1942 are out
of print.)

(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in
(1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis,
£2 7s. 6d. per calendar year in advance.

(4) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitat-
ing the purchase of extra copies.
