Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, Wallace County, containing by admeasurement 267 acres, more or less, and being Section 6, Block VIII, Rowallan Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 209/7, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Southland plan S.O. 3294.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of November, 1950.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 530 acres 12 perches, more or less, being part of Section 8, Block I, Tapumutu Survey District, and being all the land formerly held under the Renewable Lease No. 120. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 103/35, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of November, 1950.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 1,000 acres, more or less, being Section 9, Block XV, Tadmor Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 108/77, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Nelson plan S.O. 7074.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of November, 1950.

Declaring Land in Block XI, Tadmor Survey District, Nelson Land District, Vested in the Nelson Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in His Majesty the King

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act, 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by proclamation, declare that any school-site or part of a school-site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in His Majesty; and thereupon the school-site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in His Majesty freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the proclamation.

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Nelson Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in His Majesty the King, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
