Pharmacy Industry

applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Bay Drive (near
Richard Street), Titahi Bay.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

Thames Valley Motors, Ltd., Te Aroha, has applied for a
licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on
proposed garage and service-station premises at the corner of Main
Street and Thames Road, Paeroa.

T. P. Whittaker, corner of Villa and Albert Streets, Masterton,
has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be
installed on garage premises at the corner of Villa and Albert Streets,
Masterton.

H. L. Godward, trading as H. L. Godward and Co., Clyde Street,
Winton, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one
pump to be installed on garage premises at Clyde Street, Winton.

B. W. Arnst, Main Road, Johnsonville, has applied for a
licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage

Matiere Motors, Ltd., Matiere, has applied for permission
to take over from Ohura Valley Stores, Ltd., licence in respect of
one pump installed on premises at Matiere, and to shift the pump
to the premises of the company.

H. A. Cory-Wright, Tairua, has applied for permission to, (1)
shift one pump to a new site at Tairua Camp, (2) replace a portable
pump by a fixed pump, and (3) resell motor-spirit in drum lots
from the same premises as those on which the pump is installed.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than 16th February, 1950,
submit any written evidence and representations they may desire
to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary,
Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
