Portions of a Public Domain Set Apart for Housing Purposes in the City of Hamilton

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portions of public domain described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land set apart:—

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130196, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of January, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section twenty-nine of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 2 roods 28 perches.

Being part bed of Huangarua River.

Situated in Blocks IX and XIV, Huangarua Survey District. (S.O. 20761.)

In the Wellington Land District: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129100, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion this 26th day of January, 1950.

Authorizing Austin Edmund Lines and Norman Arthur Job Lines, both of Inangahua Junction, Dairy-farmers, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Buller

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of January, 1950

Present:

THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize Austin Edmund Lines and Norman Arthur Job Lines, both of Inangahua Junction, Dairy-farmers (hereinafter referred to as the licensees), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS

THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  1. LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

This licence is issued under the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and is subject thereto and to the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and to any regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

The system of supply shall be a direct current system as described in paragraph (d) of Clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

  1. DURATION OF LICENCE

Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1970, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board or other general public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

LINES adapted for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described commencing from the licensees' generator and milking-shed situated in Section 3, Block IV, Inangahua Survey District, in the County of Buller, and proceeding in an easterly direction to a dwelling situated in the said Section 3, and thence across a public road to a dwelling situated in Section 21, Block IV, Inangahua Survey District aforesaid, the said lines being more particularly shown by means of blue lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 93, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.

Authorizing The Colonial Sugar Refining Company, Limited, to Erect and Use Electric Lines in Portion of the Borough of Birkenhead

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of December, 1949

Present:

THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby grant, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, a licence authorizing The Colonial Sugar Refining Company, Limited, a duly incorporated company, having its registered office at Auckland (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS

THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  1. LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, and the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification of amendment thereof or in substitution therefor: provided that the licensee shall not, by virtue of this clause, be required, except in the normal course of alterations, repair, or maintenance, to reconstruct in conformity with the regulations hereinbefore mentioned any existing electric line or work which conformed to the regulations in force at the time of the construction thereof.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

The system of supply shall be a direct-current system as described in paragraph (d) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

  1. DURATION OF LICENCE

Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1970.

SCHEDULE

LINES adapted for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described:—

(a) Within the licensee's land known as the Chelsea Estate, in the Borough of Birkenhead; the boundaries of which are shown on the plan marked S.H.D. 84, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of Hydro-electric Department; and

(b) Along the licensee's sugar and coal wharves, and the Auckland Harbour Board's ferry wharf at Chelsea.

The lines at present erected and used being more particularly shown by means of black lines on the said plan S.H.D. 84.
