The Western Side of Portion of Burns Street in the Borough of Green Island, Exempted From the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of November, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Green Island Borough Council on the 4th day of April, 1950, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz:—

"The Green Island Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the roads or streets within the Borough of Green Island, by resolution declares that the provisions of sections 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the western side of portion of Burns Street adjoining Lots 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, and parts 2 and 4, and land marked railway place, D.P. 97, Block I, Township of Burnside, and Lots 4, 5, 6, and 7, D.P. 948, Block VII, Township of Burnside East, being part Sections 68, 69, 70, and 355R, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District."

SCHEDULE

THE western side of all that portion of street situated in the Borough of Green Island, Otago Land District, known as Burns Street, fronting Lots 4, 5, 6, and 7, Block VII, D.P. 948, being part Section 68, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131486, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waipa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
