A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for health purposes (medical officer’s residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of November, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 0·2 perches. Being Lot 27, D.P. 17800, being part Section 29, Suburbs of Rotorua, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 851, folio 249, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of November, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a main highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of November, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 36·3 perches. Being part Lot 3, D.P. 10784, being part Allotment 42, Papakura Parish.

Situated in Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35977.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132651, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of November, 1950.

Revoking a Proclamation Taking Land for Sand-dune Reclamation in
Block III, Moutere Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 24th day of May, 1949, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 31 of the 26th day of the same month, at page 1209, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 4029, taking land for sand-dune reclamation in Block III, Moutere Survey District, such land being no longer required.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of November, 1950.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block VII

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
