DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership business of dealers in garden manures carried on by us, the undersigned, at Auckland, under the name of Berry’s Animal Manures has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th day of September, 1950; all moneys owing to the firm will be payable to B. A. KIDD, at 44 Lawrence Street, Herne Bay, Auckland, where he will continue to carry on the business on his own account, and the said B. A. KIDD will pay all debts due by the partnership.

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held on the 26th day of October, 1950, the following special resolution was duly passed:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that DENIS TERENCE AGER, Public Accountant, of Christchurch, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATES

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolutions were passed by the Napier City Council on the 30th day of October, 1950:—

“That for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of two thousand six hundred pounds (£2,600), authorized to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making improvements to buildings on lands vested in the Corporation as endowments, the said the Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-three one-thousandths (23/1000ths.) of a penny (1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of nine thousand two hundred and seventy-five pounds (£9,275), authorized to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of installing filtration and heating plant and new conveniences in, and additions to, the Napier Municipal Baths, the said the Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eighty-three one-thousandths (83/1000ths.) of a penny (1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of eight thousand pounds (£8,000), authorized to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of extending the meat storage and chilling facilities at the Napier Abattoir, the said the Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sixty-two one-thousandths (62/1000ths.) of a penny (1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
