EVIDENCE of the loss of Certificate of Title, Volume 323, folio 82 (Otago Registry), for Sections 5, 11, 12, and 13, Block XIX, Town of Roxburgh, containing 1 acre, in the name of JOHN HARRY WAIGHT the Younger, Fruitgrower, CHARLES WAIGHT, Fruitgrower, and JOHN RICKARD WAIGHT, Orchardist, all of Roxburgh, as tenants in common in equal shares having been lodged with me together with an application for a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue such new certificate of title on 17th November, 1950.

INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Invercargill City Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on the Invercargill City Council Conversion Redemption Loan No. 8, 1951, of £16,200, authorized to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on the 1st May, 1951, the debentures issued pursuant to clause 16 of the Invercargill City Loans Conversion Order 1934, and maturing on the 1st May, 1956, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal four one eight pence (·418d.) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council held on Tuesday, the 17th day of October, 1950.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 19th day of October, 1950, presented to the said Court by Barton Ginger and Company, Limited, a company duly incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933, having its registered office in the City of Wellington, and carrying on business as custom-house and forwarding agents : And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Nelson on the 5th day of December, 1950, at 10 o’clock on the forenoon, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose ; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Extract from the minutes of the Inglewood County Council in respect of a meeting held by the Council on the 14th day of August, 1950.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Inglewood County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under the Rural Housing Act, 1939, such loan being called the ‘Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1950,’ the said Inglewood County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal three thousand six hundred and fourteen pence (·3614d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Inglewood County ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
