Revoking a Proclamation Proclaiming Bradshaw's Creek to be a Water Course for the Discharge of Tailings

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Mining Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 17th day of February, 1896, and published in New Zealand Gazette of 1896, at page 320, constituting that stream known as Bradshaw's Creek and all its tributaries to be a stream into which tailings, mining debris, and waste water may be discharged, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of October, 1950.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.--WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, Clifton County, containing by admeasurement 730 acres, more or less, and being part of Section 2, Block IV, Tainui Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 51/9, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Taranaki plan S.O. 8366.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of October, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.--ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Whakatane County, containing by admeasurement 289 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, and being part of Lot 2 of Section 6, Block VIII, Rotoma Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 39/8, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (South Auckland plan S.O. 13825/14L.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of October, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for sand-dune reclamation; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of November, 1950.
