Revocation of Appointment of Certain Garage Proprietors for Issue

Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Convention Order 1940
IT is hereby notified for general information that the International
Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, as
revised at London in 1934, applies as between New Zealand and the
Federal Republic of Germany.
The Federal Republic of Germany is treated as a convention
country for the purposes of section 54 of the Patents, Designs, and
Trade-marks Amendment Act, 1939, by virtue of the declaration
made by regulation 2 of the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks
Convention Order 1940, that Germany (among other countries) is a
convention country for the purposes of the Act.

Date of Election by Fire-insurance Companies to Fill Extraordinary
Vacancy on the Wanganui Fire Board
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 24th October, 1950.
PURSUANT to the Fire Services Act, 1949, and the rules there-
under, the Minister charged with the administration of the
said Act doth appoint Friday, the 10th November, 1950, to be the
date for holding the election of one member of the Wanganui Fire
Board by the Fire-insurance Companies, such election being held
to fill the extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation of
Mr. R. A. McCullough.
