Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
20·25 perches.
Being Sections 41A, 41B, and part of 40, Block I, Town of Queenstown, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 80, folio 124 (Otago Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of October, 1950.

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a ranger's residence; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of October, 1950.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block XIII, Reefton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
