Notice of Result of Poll

PURSUANT to section 13 (1) of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Mosgiel taken on the 20th day of September, 1950, on the proposal of the Mosgiel Borough Council to borrow the sum of sixty-five thousand pounds (£65,000) for providing improvements and extensions to the drainage, sewerage and water reticulation systems, tar sealing roads, effecting street improvements, and purchasing a truck.

Votes.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was .. 217
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was .. 97
The number of informal votes was .. .. .. 4

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 36/1437, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Sale of Unclaimed Property
