A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Safety Conservation Act, 1932, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting with the approval of the Executive Council, do hereby revoke the Proclamation of Emergency issued on the 20th day of September, 1950.*
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of October, 1950.

Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the Town of Okato

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of October, 1950.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre. Being Section 53, Town of Okato, being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 92, folio 212 (Taranaki Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of September, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 2 roods 12.3 perches. Being Lot 8, D.P. 37230, being portion of Allotment 190, Parish of Kirikirihoa.
Situated in the City of Hamilton, being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 293, folio 229 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of September, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for social security purposes (surgery and waiting-room); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of October, 1950.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 3.5 perches. Being Lots 9 and 10, D.P. 2, part Section 573, Block X, Arnold Survey District (Borough of Brunner), and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 39, folio 219 (Westland Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of September, 1950
