A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a Maori school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of October, 1950.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 4 acres.
Being portion of Poukawa Maori Reserve, part Lot IIc, D.P. 3961, and closed road.
Situated in Block IX, Te Mata Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2002.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131197, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of September, 1950.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for health purposes (district nurse's residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of October, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 roods 26'67 perches.
Being Lots 6, 7, 8, and 9, D.P. 6393, being part Sections 11 and 12, Block XIX, Ohakune Village Settlement.
Situated in the Borough of Ohakune, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 526, folio 255 (Wellington Land Registry).

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 39 acres 3 roods.
Being Section 46, Suburbs of Rotorua, and being originally part Pukeroa-o-Ruawhata Block, situated in the Borough of Rotorua, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 658, folio 265 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of September, 1950.

Land Taken for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Improvement Act, 1945, in the City of Wanganui

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 17 of the Housing Improvement Act, 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken as for a public work duly authorized by the said Public Works Act and for the purposes of Part I of the said Housing Improvement Act and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wanganui as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of October, 1950.

Being part Suburban Section 40, Town of Wanganui, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 271, folio 300 (Wellington Land Registry).

Revoking a Proclamation Taking Land for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Mount Roskill

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of March, 1950, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 18 on the 30th day of the same month at page 334, and registered in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 12933, taking land for housing purposes in the Borough of Mount Roskill, such land being no longer required.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of September, 1950.
