### Amending a Proclamation Setting Apart Land as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 7th day of July, 1950, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 13th day of July, 1950, at page 883 (hereinafter referred to as the said Proclamation), an area of land containing 1,361 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section 1, Block XV, Puketapu Survey District, was set apart as permanent State forest land in terms of section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, and whereas errors were made in the Schedule to the said Proclamation and it is desirable that these errors be rectified.
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 21 of the Forests Act, 1949, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by omitting from the said schedule the words “1,361” and “XV” and substituting the words “1,261” and “XIV” respectively in lieu thereof, and I do hereby further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as from the date on which the said Proclamation was intended to take effect.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of September, 1950.

### Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

#### SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing approximately 579 acres 2 roods, and described generally as follows:
All that area containing by admeasurement 219 acres 2 roods, more or less, and being Sections 14 and 16, Block VI, Wangapeka Survey District.

### Also all that area containing approximately 360 acres, situated in Block VI, Wangapeka Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south-east by Sections 19 and 23, Block VI, aforesaid; towards the south-west by Section 15, Block X, Wangapeka Survey District; towards the south generally by Fowler Creek and towards the west, north-west and north-east by provisional State forest (New Zealand Gazette 1920, page 2110). As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 102/28, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of September, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.

#### SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 347 acres, more or less, and being Sections 4, 5, and 6, Block VIII, Owen Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 107/5, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Nelson plans S.O. 6359, 6360, and 8222.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of September, 1950.
