NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, Otaki Borough, for the Purposes of a War Memorial and Recreation-ground.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Otaki Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the taking and the laying out of a recreational area as a war memorial—and for purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Council Chambers, Main Street, Otaki, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Otaki Borough Council, Otaki.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land situated in the Lands Registration District of Wellington containing:—
Firstly, five acres one rood twenty perches (5 acres 1 rood 20 perches), more or less, known as Tutangatakino No. 2, recorded in Deeds Index, Volume 28, folio 18, Wellington Registry.
Secondly, seven acres one rood thirty-nine decimal nine six perches (7 acres 1 rood 39·96 perches), more or less, situate in the Borough of Otaki, being parts of Waerenga Nos. 4 and 5 and part of Tutangatakino No. 9, part of the said land being also Lot 4 on Deposited Plan 6595, and being all the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 546, folio 58, Wellington Registry.
Thirdly, five acres one rood twenty-four perches (5 acres 1 rood 24 perches), more or less, situate in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, and known as Waerenga West Block, and being all the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 213, folio 298, Wellington Registry.
Fourthly, twenty-five and eight-tenths perches (25·8 perches), more or less, situated in the Town District of Otaki, being part of Waerenga No. 1 Block, and being Lot 8 on Deposited Plan No. 5363, and being all the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 287, folio 257, Wellington Registry.
As the same are more particularly delineated and bordered in green on the plan above mentioned, and deposited in the Council Chambers, Main Street, Otaki.

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that the final winding-up meeting of Tresfarin (N.Z.), Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), will be held on Thursday, the 28th day of September, 1950, at 2 p.m., at the office of the liquidator.

VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP RESOLUTION
NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed by entry in the minute book of the above company signed as provided by subsection (1) of section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933:—
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“2. That Mr. ROBERT PRESTON HALL be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”
This notice is in substitution for a notice signed by the said Robert Preston Hall appearing on page 1700 of the New Zealand Gazette No. 57 of the 7th September, 1950, which latter notice is hereby cancelled.
