A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132272, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of September, 1950.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 4 acres 2 roods 13 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, and Crown land.
Situated in Block XI, Coast Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9786.)
In the Otago Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131959, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Cancelling the Vesting of Part of a Reserve in the Paparua County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of September, 1950

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve for a gravel pit, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Paparua :
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Paparua County Council has duly consented to such cancellation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Paparua of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block XI, Rolleston Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 37 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 1249. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1881/1196, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a gravel pit over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, North Auckland Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1950

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that the Governor-General may, from time to time by Order in Council, revoke the reservation over any public reserve or part thereof, and thereupon the land comprised therein shall, if vested in the Crown or in any local authority or trustees deriving title from the Crown, become Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948, and in any other case may, subject to the provisions of subsection (5) of the said section 7 of the said Act, be disposed of in such manner and for such purposes as may be stated in such Order in Council :
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for road purposes vested in the body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Mount Albert :
And whereas it is expedient that the reservation over the said land be revoked :
And whereas the said body corporate has passed a resolution consenting to such revocation, and has in all other respects complied with the provisions of subsections (3) and (4) of the said section 7 of the said Act :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for road purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that the said land may be disposed of in one or more lots by the said body corporate by way of sale, by public auction, or private treaty at such prices and on such terms and conditions as the said body corporate shall determine, but so that the proceeds of any such sale shall be credited to the district fund of the said body corporate.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Borough of Mount Albert, situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 26·34 perches, more or less, being Lot 31 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office, at Auckland, under No. 18116, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 926, folio 219 (Auckland Registry), and being part Allotment 172, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2733A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
