Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Pharmacy Industry
C. G. Mahon, 575 Great South Road, Otahuhu, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 168 Trafalgar Street, Onehunga, Auckland.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
E. D. Shepherd and F. K. J. Apperley, 12 Middle Road, Havelock North, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 12 Middle Road, Havelock North.
H. C. Massey and R. A. Carter, Main Road, Upper Hutt, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on garage premises at Main Road, Upper Hutt.
Jowett Motors (N.Z.), Ltd., Great South Road, Otahuhu, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on motor-assembly premises at Great South Road, Otahuhu.
Mutual Rental Cars (Wellington), Ltd., Egmont Street, Wellington, has applied for permission to shift one pump from its present position inside to a new site just outside proposed building on same premises and alongside Egmont Street.
W. R. O’Brien and W. J. Chadwick, Ohaupo, have applied for permission to shift one pump from an inside position at their garage premises to a new position on the kerbside.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 21st September, 1950, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Bay of Islands Development Scheme.
