Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

H. L. Tough and J. G. Pearson, Hydro-electric site, Coal Creek,
via Roxburgh, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from
two pumps to be installed on proposed service-station premises,
Hydro-electric site, Coal Creek, via Roxburgh.

L. S. McIsaac, Putaruru, has applied for a licence to resell
motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed service-
station premises at the top of the Kaimai Hill road, and approximately
7 miles from Te Poi.

G. H. Weston-Webb, Ltd., Westrey Road, Mangere Central, has
applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be
installed on service-station and garage premises at Westrey Road,
Mangere Central.

Riverhead Carrying Co., Ltd., Brigham’s Creek — Albany
Highway, Riverhead, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit
from one pump to be installed on proposed garage premises at
Brigham’s Creek — Albany Highway, Riverhead.

R. W. Allen, corner of Hewitt’s Road and Main Highway,
Fitzherbert West, via Palmerston North, has applied for a licence to
resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed
store and tea-room premises at Fitzherbert West, via Palmerston
North.

H. A. M. Clarke, corner Orakei — Korako — Taupo Roads,
Atiamuri, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one
pump to be installed on store premises at corner Orakei — Korako —
Taupo Roads, Atiamuri.

W. M. Chapple, Lake Okareka, 7 miles from Rotorua, has
applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be
installed on store premises at Lake Okareka, 7 miles from Rotorua.

A. J. and A. M. D. Knight, Selwyn Huts, via Springston South,
have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to
be installed on store premises at Selwyn Huts, via Springston South.

C. S. and M. G. Trask, Tiritea Road, Fitzherbert, via Palmerston
North, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one
pump to be installed on general store premises at Tiritea Road,
Fitzherbert, via Palmerston North.

S. J. Brensell, Edievale, has applied for a licence to resell
motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on cartage contracting
premises at Edievale.

Car Cleaners and Lubricators, Ltd., Commercial Road, Helens-
ville, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump
to be installed on business premises at Commercial Road, Helensville.

Ross Motors, Ltd., Almyer Street, Ross, has applied for per-
mission to shift two pumps from their present position in Almyer
Street, to a new site in Moorhouse Street, Ross.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than 14th September, 1950,
submit any written evidence and representations they may desire
to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary,
Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment
Act, 1936

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act,
1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said
Act, and to be included in the Maniapoto Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land Court
District containing 222 acres 3 roods 34 perches, more or less,
called or known as Part Mahoenui No. 2, Section 2B, and situate
in Block IX, Totoro Survey District, and being the whole of the
land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 90,
folio 219, New Plymouth Registry.

Dated at Wellington, this 24th day of August, 1950.

Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment
Act, 1936

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act,
1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the lands
described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said
Act, and to be included in the Okaiawa Development Scheme.
