Redefining Boundaries of the City of Nelson, the County of Waimea, and the Stoke and Wangamoa Ridings of the County of Waimea

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the City of Nelson are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said city having been altered by an Order in Council (hereinafter called the first Order in Council) made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, dated the 26th day of October, 1949, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 64 of the 3rd day of November, 1949, and also by an Order in Council made under the Local Government Commission Act, 1946, dated the 15th day of March, 1950, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 15 of the 16th day of March, 1950.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the County of Waimea affected by the first Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

And, in further pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Stoke and Wangamoa Ridings of the County of Waimea affected by the first Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.

ALL that area of land in the Nelson Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point at low-water mark upon the seaward side of the Boulder Bank, and proceeding due east to the northernmost corner of Section 1132; thence along the north-eastern and south-eastern sides of the said Section 1132 to a point in line between the centre-line of the lighthouse tower and the northernmost corner of Section 1167; thence in a south-easterly direction along the said line to the northernmost corner of Section 1167;
