Additional Land at Gisborne Taken for the Purposes of the Gisborne-Karaka Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for the purposes of the Gisborne-Karaka Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:--

A. R. P.
1 3 6 Lot 2, D.P. 1969, being part Waikanae No. 5 Block;
coloured sepia.
7 2 24 Part bed of Waikanae Stream; coloured orange.
All situated in the Borough of Gisborne. (S.O. 4586.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10459, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of August, 1950.

Additional Land Taken for a Secondary School in the Borough of Gisborne

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for a secondary school; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of
September, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 27-91
perches.
Being Lot 9, D.P. 3459, being part Section 180, Gisborne Suburban,
and being the whole of the land comprised and described in
Certificate of Title, Volume 85, folio 22, Gisborne Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of August, 1950.

Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 4th day of September, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 8-39 perches.
Being closed street adjoining Lot 1 of Section 11, and Section 9,
Hutt District.
Situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, City of
Lower Hutt. (S.O. 21038.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131642, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of August, 1950.

Land Taken for Public Buildings of the General Government in the City of Wanganui

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
public buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of
September, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 21-82 perches.
Being Lots A, D, and part Lot B, on D.P. 257, being part of Reserve
N on the public map of the Town of Wanganui, deposited in
the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, originally
acquired under the Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1881, as
a Reserve for Harbour Board purposes and being the balance
of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 29, folio 119 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of August, 1950.
