Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940

IN terms of regulation 5 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby approve of the person named in Column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in Column 1 of the said Schedule.

P. R. Horne, 20 Codrington Crescent, Mission Bay, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at corner of St. Helier's Bay Road, Maskell Road, and Riddell Road, Glendowie, Auckland.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
E. J. and L. B. Baldwin, Clarke's Beach, Franklin County (16 miles from Papakura), have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Clarke's Beach, Franklin County.
T. J. Ferris, Paihia, Bay of Islands, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on butchery premises at Paihia, Bay of Islands.
D. A. Lamb, Carthew Street, Okato, has applied for permission to take over from Durdle Stores, Ltd., motor-spirits retail licence in respect of two pumps installed on store premises, Carthew Street, Okato, and to shift the pumps to a new site at the above address.
M. W. Torr, Willow Flat, Kotemaori, has applied for permission to shift one pump from Willow Flat to a new site at Maungataniwha.
N. C. Allan, Tame Porati Street, Manakau, has applied for permission to shift one pump from its present position in Tame Porati Street, to a new site on proposed garage premises on the main North-South Highway in Manakau.
T. W. Halkett, 27 White Street, Wanganui, has applied for permission to move one pump from its present position at 27 White Street, Wanganui, to a new site on garage premises at 47 Anzac Parade, Taylorville, Wanganui.
A. C. and E. G. Wood, 7 Bank Street, Whangarei, have applied for permission to shift one pump from inside garage premises at 7 Bank Street, Whangarei to a new site outside about 3 feet distant and in an open yard.
Seabrook Fowlds, Ltd., 338 Manukau Road, Auckland, has applied for permission to shift one pump from inside garage premises to a new site outside at 338 Manukau Road, Auckland.
G. D. May, Station Road, Te Puke, has applied for permission to shift one pump from its present position to a new site on the same premises 18 feet distant towards the boundary on Station Road, Te Puke.
R. V. H. Aulin, corner Clyde Street and Peach Grove Road, Hamilton East, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from three pumps to be installed on proposed service-station premises at corner Clyde Street and Peach Grove Road, Hamilton East.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 7th September, 1950, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
