✨ Hotel Grading and Price Order

Notwithstanding the provisions of this Order where charges higher than those authorised by this Order were being charged by the licensee of an hotel immediately prior to the date of this Order those higher charges may, with the consent in writing of the Director of Price Control granted pursuant to a written application in that behalf by the licensee, continue to be charged by that licensee in respect of accommodation provided at that hotel.
Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing provisions of this Order and subject to such conditions, if any, as it thinks fit, the Tribunal, on application by any licensee may authorize special maximum prices in respect of any services to which this Order applies where special circumstances exist or for any reason extraordinary charges are incurred by the licensee. Any authority given by the Tribunal under this clause may apply with respect to a particular service or may relate generally to all services to which this Order applies rendered by the licensee while the approval remains in force.
